Urbino is the UNESCO world heritage site described as the Cradle of the Renaissance. Duke Federico’s Palace and his collection of world-famous art are stunning. The
city as a whole is an absolute gem. The region is dotted with beautiful, historically and culturally significant towns like Gradara, Jesi, Fermo and Ascoli Piceno. And
for every town there are a dozen delightfully preserved villages which house artworks which will not fail to charm you.

The backdrop to the vineyards, olive groves and patchwork of fields is the majestic range of the Sibillini Mountains which rise up over 3000 metres. This National
Park is criss-crossed with trails and paths with breath-taking views. It is a Mecca for outward-bounders seeking thrills canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding,
mountain-biking, pot-holing and paragliding to name a few activities. The Frassasi Caves are a true wonder of nature. The beaches are award-winning and range from
endless flat, powder beaches to craggy, stony coves popular with mussel fishermen.

The local cuisine is honest, seasonal and delicious with such specialities as wild boar stew, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffles and clams with spaghetti
on the coast. The many vineyards produce a wide-range of excellent wine which compliments the local cuisine perfectly but is rarely seen in the outside world.
